Maria Burnash 500 Hr E-RYT, PTA
A physical therapist assistant who loves to teach yoga, has a way to heal the body and mind. She has completed 40 teacher trainings with David Swensen both in Primary and Second Series and has studied yoga with K. Pattabhi Jois, David Williams, Tim Miller ,Richard Freeman, Beryl Bender Birch, Kathy McNames, David Swensen, Kino McGregor, Erich Schiffman, Manjou Jois, Bryan Kest and Dharma Mittra. Maria teaches a wide range of classes from gentle basics to the vigorous practice of Ashtanga. Maria's expert hands and warm heart make this yoga experience safe and meditative

Pam Burgess 500 Hr E-RYT, Oncology Yoga Certified Instructor
Pam started on her Yoga journey over 20 years ago practicing Ashtanga Yoga with Linda Graham. After completing her teacher training at CorePower Yoga in Boulder, Colorado in 2008, she returned to Michigan and began teaching at Yoga in the Woods in 2009, and at The Yoga Path in 2012. Pam completed her 500 Hr RYT training in 2018. Pam has continued her training with 30 hours of Yin Yoga training and recently completed 100 hours of Oncology Yoga training through Yoga4cancer teacher training. Pam’s calming voice and caring manner make her classes a safe
place to deepen your yoga practice.
Kim Laux 200 Hr RYT, ACE-Certified Group Fitness Instructor
Kim has practiced yoga for over 20 years and enjoys finding ways to apply what she has learned "off the mat." Outside of the studio, she is an academic advisor and communication lecturer at UM-Flint. She also enjoys hiking, paddle boarding/kayaking, tennis, writing, practicing her faith, and spending time with loved ones. Kim's Vin Yin class begins with the energy and flow of a vinyasa-style sequence then transitions into a relaxing, mindful yin-style series of asanas (held for 2-5 minutes)--bringing balance to your practice. All levels of yoga experience are welcome.

Jimmy Smalley E-RYT 200, YACEP
Jimmy has completed a 200 hr vinyasa training with Jennifer Whipple at Prana Yoga Center in Grand Blanc, MI. He has also participated in many workshops as well as completing a 200 hr Ashtanga intensive with his teachers Kino MacGregor and Tim Feldmann in Miami Beach, FL. He continues consistent study with these teachers, in addition to trying to make annual trips to Mysore, India, to practice and study Ashtanga Yoga with Paramaguru R. Sharath Jois. He is currently enrolled in a 300 hr Intensive with Kino and Tim, and is expecting RYT-500 hr designation summer 2021. In addition to yoga, Jimmy is a 4th degree black belt and certified master instructor of the International Tang Soo Do Federation
